First STPM Paper Aftermath

Vin went back home, feeling utmost tired and was unable to open the chemistry book and study.
Slept for nearly 2hours and woke up as a sicko.

*Phone rings*
Kam called.
Emo-ing for half an hour.

Dinner.

*Phone beeps*
Ming Yen's message.
Another emo victim.

*Phone rings again*
Talk for an hour with Ming Yen.
Discussing about what the heck is degenerate codons and re-planning future.

-Next morning-

*Phone beeps*
Aaron: hows the exam?

*Beeps again*
Ming Yen pestering about STPM CGPAs of our senior. Emo-ness prevailed again.

*Then it beeps again*
Next emo victim, Ju.

Picture Perfect?

EdB without my presence for almost 2 months has been handled well by juniors and I am proud. :) (Absence for exam purpose)

But,
Yesterday, Jeslynn called me that there's no photo on the editor's page and asked me to immediately send them one as the printer is rushing them.

WHAT? I was usually the one taking photos of other people which means I don't have an appropriate photo of MYSELF, looking all editor-like posing nicely in front of the camera. NO.

Spent 2hours on the comp searching for a photo of ME and heck I was tired of looking at my own face on pictures! And cause exam is around the corner and I had to sent them photos.

Search from folders to folders from the title of 'EdB' and 'MBS' to 'Random Nonsense'.
In the end I chose 3 cropped pictures which I'm not wearing school uniform and was not taken in school ground. It was some random picture. I think its even in Facebook damnit.

It was somehow rather nerve-wrecking thinking of that page of mine which will be published in large copies for all to see and I can't find a damn appropriate picture of myself!

Also to Ju, I was informed that her page (head girl page) was done with a photo. I designed that page and I did not put any photos of her. So she was worried about what kinda photo will they use for her page. I felt sorry. Lol. Chris then informed me her passport photo will be used. Even though it wasn't the pic of her choice, but well...datelines are datelines. :(

All in all, the head boy had the most outstanding pic. Ju a passport size pic. And me, a simply random pic. Sounds great eh? *laughs*

Reminder to self

Deepest Condolence to a Schoolmate

Teh Beng Hooi

The one thing I regret about Beng Hooi’s passing was that I am still not clearly sure who he is and how he looks like even though we studied in the same school last year when he’s well.
This young man was diagnosed with Leukemia and has since not attending school this year.
My aunt and her friends who have been actively involved in Sokka-Gakai Buddhist association always pay their visit and chant for his recovery.
As far as I know, he’s a prefect in school. He should have been a senior prefect by now wearing senior ties, white pants and black shiny shoes together with his peers.
He should have been in the class photo of 4 Science, standing in the middle row, as I was there when his class took their annual class photo on early July.
He might have joined the fun of Drama together with Adriel, Beng Leong, and some others early this year. Who knows?
His passing ends his terminal illness and thus may he rest in peace.

Revival

STPM.

33 more days. I’ve gotta admit that the fighting spirit I once had for previous
examinations has elapsed many part of it as I grew older. The once introvert me is now history. NOOOO! I need motivation. WHERE THE HELL DID IT GO???

I’m in the middle of trials. MBS is the last school to set the trials paper for 6th formers. Other schools have finished their trials one month ago. We will be finishing on 30th October while the big hellhole started on 19th November, which exactly means we have 19 days to re-prepare for STPM??? I don’t get how it works.

Not to mention, I’m not prepared for even trials.
i) Biology 1 and 2 starts this Wednesday. Goodness. Seriously Modern Genetics Technology might be one show-down.
ii) Chemistry. I love Organic. But that doesn’t mean I can score well for it. Physical Chem *jump off tall building*.
iii)Maths. This is how it goes. You can manage it your own during behind-the-scene revisions. Somehow things go missing when you open that exam paper. Probably still lacking of exercise.
iii)PA. Errgghh…Kam agrees with me that anything related to BM (till today), we will end up thinking about what Mr. Saravanan used to teach us back in Form 5.

I feel tired almost everyday. Even coffee is immuned to me now. No wonder people keep telling me my skin got fairer. Actual meaning was that I look paler. Mum said I look like a drug-addict yesterday with my tired face, protruding eyebags and overall sickening look. I mean who's mum in the world would call their daugther a drug-addict?? But yea it was kinda true. People would normally said sleep early, wake up early. THIS just don't apply to me. I would force myself to wake up, and end up being super tired in the afternoon which result in another 3 hour sleep.

4 more weeks and life in 6th form would be past tense. I will definitely miss life here more than anything else. It means a lot to me even though its just 1.5 years. The amazing people I've met, the truly cherished moments and my perspective of mind which have changed to the better view. Not forgetting my class, foyer, and the field for house practise. For now, I just have to combine hardwork, focus, and passion all in one piece to gear up and beat the odds.

p.s. I just have to wake my blog up temporarily.
